Collaborations as a partner
Beyond our own games, Fishing Cactus partners with external (indie) studios to provide console porting, co-development and technical production support across Unity and Unreal Engine. Our approach is simple: we integrate seamlessly into existing teams, adapting to each studio’s workflows and becoming a natural extension of the development crew. Our mission: we helped Cybernetic Walrus and the Roadside Research team bring the game to Xbox and prepare its broader console rollout. We provided additional multiplayer development support and implemented cross-platform multiplayer across PC and consoles.

Our mission: we joined the Frog Sqwad gang to rapidly deliver the Xbox version within a tight schedule, providing embedded engineering support, contributing additional game features, assisting with Microsoft certification, and helping prepare the project for further console releases and crossplay.

Our mission: we partnered with Embers to bring Murky Divers to Xbox and PlayStation 5, delivering the console ports, modernizing the multiplayer stack for cross-play (EOS>Redpoint), ensuring platform compliance and implementing platform-specific DualShock features.

Our mission: we helped the Asfalia team successfully bring the game to Nintendo Switch, adapting the UI/UX and gameplay for controllers, optimizing performance for a smooth 30 FPS experience. We also helped assisting Funtomata with the Nintendo publishing and certification processes.

Our mission: we helped Myron Games bring Underworld Overseer from Meta Quest to PlayStation PSVR2, adapting the controls for the new platform, ensuring compliance with Sony requirements (TRCs) and supporting the studio in the publishing and certification process.
